    Our client is a recently opened high-end Steakhouse Restaurant in a popular business area in Shenzhen. The restaurant consists of an elegant bar area, dining area and private dining rooms with a total seat arrangement of around 100 seats. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant is aiming for an average check of RMB1000 – RMB1200. The menu serves top quality American Prime & Australian Angus meat dishes, as some seafood dishes like lobster, scallops etc.    

    Job & Profile description

    In this role you will be reporting to the owner (foreigner) and be responsible for contracting and closing sales prospects and ensuring that business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for quality service delivery. The position is responsible for achieving S&M revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue. The incumbent implements the restaurant’s brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and drives customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. This will be an independent role and we are looking for a pro-active & enthusiastic candidate.


    Some of the job duties as mentioned by our client

    Manages sales efforts for the restaurant such as local corporate, social catering & events.

    Responds to incoming enquiries for the restaurant.

    Identifies, qualifies and solicits new business to achieve personal and restaurant revenue goals.

    Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.

    Closes the best opportunities for the restaurant based on market conditions and needs.

    Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

    Designs, develops and sells creative events.

    Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).

    Taking care of the (VIP) guests and makes sure that the incoming business is well taken care of.

    Promote the restaurant and its image/reputation in a positive manner on different sales & marketing channels to embody the essence of the company’s hospitality spirits and values.


    The ideal candidate has several years’ experience in F&B or catering sales, guest services, front desk, and familiarity with fine dining restaurants. Work effectively; take initiative, able to work under pressure. Cheerful personality, energetic, dynamic and self-motivated attitude. Preferably has Shenzhen experience and build up his/her own network. Fluently in English & Mandarin.


    Salary & Benefits

    Salary is offered of around RMB 10,000gross/month + commission structure, health insurance,. Other benefits according to the company’s policy.
